U Java , dok se bavimo datum i vrijeme , ponekad moramo usporediti datume . The usporedba datuma u Javi nije isto što i usporedba dvaju brojeva.
- Korištenje usporedi s() metoda
- Korištenje Datum Klasa
- Korištenje Kalendar Klasa
- Korištenje Lokalni datum Klasa
Korištenje metode Date.compareTo().
Java klasa datuma pruža različite metode vezane uz vrijeme i datume.

Zapamtiti: Ako imate posla s datumom u Javi, ne zaboravite uvesti java.text.SimpleDateFormat, java.text.ParseException,java.util.Date.
Implementirajmo metodu compareTo() i usporedimo dva datuma.
U sljedećem primjeru stvorili smo instancu SimpleDateFormat klasa koja nam omogućuje uzimanje različitih formata datuma. Nakon toga uzeli smo dvije varijable datum1 i datum2 tipa Datum. Korištenjem raščlaniti() metode klase SimpleDateFormat, raščlanili smo datume za usporedbu. Metoda vraća a datum raščlanjen iz niza. Proslijedili smo varijable date1 i date2 tipa Date u format() metoda. Metoda daje formatirani niz datuma/vremena.
Za usporedbu dvaju datuma upotrijebili smo usporedi s() metoda.

Java klasa datuma nudi metode before(), after() i equals() za usporedbu dva datuma.
Sintaksa:
public boolean before(Date when)
Sintaksa:
public boolean after(Date when)
Sintaksa:
public boolean equals (Object obj)
Upotrijebimo gore objašnjenu metodu u primjeru i usporedimo dva datuma uz pomoć ovih metoda.

Korištenje kalendarskog razreda
Poput klase Java Date, Kalendar razreda također nudi metode before(), after() i equals().
Upotrijebimo klasu Calendar i usporedimo dva datuma uz pomoć metoda after(), before() i equals().
U sljedećem primjeru upotrijebili smo istu metodu korištenu u prethodnom primjeru, osim getInstance() i Postavi vrijeme() metode.
getInstance(): To je statična metoda Kalendara. Vraća kalendar koristeći zadanu vremensku zonu i lokalizaciju.

Postavi vrijeme(): Metoda postavlja kalendarsko vrijeme prema navedenom datumu. Raščlanjuje parametar tipa Datum.

Korištenje klase LocalDate
Java pruža još jedan Lokalni datum klasa za usporedbu dva LocalDate, LocalTime i LocalDateTime. To je članjava.vrijemepaket. Klasa nudi metode isBefore(), isAfter(), isEquals() i compareTo() za usporedbu datuma. Ove metode rade isto kao metode before(), after() i equals() klase Datum i Kalendar.
Iskoristimo klasa LocalDate u primjeru za usporedbu dva datuma.
U sljedećem smo primjeru upotrijebili sljedeću metodu za usporedbu dva datuma. Sve metode provjeravaju datume prema lokalnom vremenu.
od(): To je statička metoda klase LocalDate. Dobiva instancu LocalDate iz godine, mjeseca i dana. Prihvaća tri parametra godina, mjesec i datum tipa int. Vraća LocalDate s navedenim datumom.
Sintaksa:
public static LocalDate of(int year, int month, int dayOfMonth)
gdje:
godina: mora biti između MIN_YEAR i MAX_YEAR.
povratni pakao u javascriptu
mjesec: mora biti između 1. (siječanj) i 12. (prosinac).
Sintaksa:
public boolean isBefore(ChronoLocalDate other)
Sintaksa:
public boolean isAfter(ChronoLocalDate other)
Sintaksa:
public boolean isEqual(ChronoLocalDate other)
