Foreach u C++ i JAVA

Petlja foreach koristi se za brzo ponavljanje elemenata spremnika (niza, vektora itd.) bez izvođenja inicijalizacije, testiranja ili povećanja/smanjenja. Foreach petlje rade radeći nešto za svaki element umjesto da rade nešto n puta. Iako ne postoji foreach petlja u C-u, podržavaju je C++ i Java. Prvi put je predstavljen u C++ u C++ 11, au Javi u JDK 1.5.0. I u C++ i u Javi, ključna riječ za foreach petlju je 'for'.

Sintaksa

 for (data_type variable_name : container_type) { operations using variable_name } 

Više ne moramo specificirati tip podataka za varijable u foreach petljama zahvaljujući uvođenju ključne riječi auto u C++ i ključne riječi var u Javi. Zaključivanje tipa otkriva tip podataka spremnika i postavlja varijablu koja se koristi za obilazak na isti tip podataka.

Foreach petlja ima sljedeće prednosti:

  • Ovo poboljšava čitljivost koda.

Foreach petlja ima sljedeće nedostatke:

  • Nije moguće ponavljati elemente obrnutim redoslijedom.
  • Pristupit će se svakom elementu; niti jedan element između neće biti preskočen.
